The Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association (CAMBA) is a successful 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization responsible for the development and management of a world-class mountain bike trail system in northern Wisconsin.
We're in search of an Executive Director who will align with CAMBA’s close-knit culture that values communication, recognition and collaboration, and will enhance it through positive, inclusive leadership.

Responsibilities include:
​

Overseeing all aspects of the organization. The Executive Director must effectively meet business goals while upholding CAMBA’s vision to be the premiere off-road cycling destination in the upper Midwest, building community through exceptional outdoor experiences and the economic benefit of CAMBA’s trails to the region.

Serving as the public face and voice of CAMBA. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors, government officials and the public to form relationships with land managers, contributors, sponsors, volunteers, and the community, while managing daily operations.

Other key responsibilities include fundraising, grant writing, marketing, and community outreach.

Experience sought:
​

Passion for all-season silent sports and outdoor trail-based recreation.
-
Meaningful experience accomplishing diverse objectives through recruitment of volunteers and pro-bono services from businesses, government entities, and civic organizations.

Identification of funding opportunities, and oversight of fund development strategies and campaigns, including grant-writing.
-
Experience working entrepreneurially in a very small organization preferred.

Nonprofit fundraising and grant writing experience preferred.
